The luck of the one who specializes


Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Even though I identify most with my Italian heritage (my mom's side), my paternal great grandfather came to America from Ireland where he met my English great grandmother. So I do have a little Irish in me, and today everyone is Irish, right?

Making your own luck Tip #3 Focus on your Specialty

Take one training this month that focuses on your niche or specialty and make sure to share your new knowledge with your audience. Demonstrate that you are THE one to come to for this type of trip.

Yes, you can book anything. However, as far as marketing goes, narrow down your specialty and your audience. Talk to that audience directly.

Every post you make does not have to speak to every audience. I know personally if I post something generic, the only person who "likes" it on Facebook is my mom.

Remember, a message meant for everyone reaches no one.


3 Post Ideas

Here's your weekly reminder to remember to post and try to do one of these as a video, on Facebook and IG Reels are doing extraordinarily well right now.

  1. Write a spotlight about special dietary needs travel (I did a gluten free post about Sandals)
  2. Pop Quiz: Ask a question and answer in regards to something you get asked about all the time. This would work well as a story too.
  3. Hotel hidden gems... which hotels in destination, to you, don't get enough attention? This could be a good reel.
